Permanent Collections: "EDEN"
About the original painting:
70X90 cm, acrylic on canvas (2021), private collection.
Artist: Milana Gorenstein
The painting "Eden" is a realm of meanings. It embodies the Manifesto of Absolute Love with its symbol—the red rose—and resonates on multiple levels, including the aesthetic, musical, and philosophical.
The painting was created in 2021, inspired by Stanislaw Lem's novel of the same name. In the novel, a beautiful planet named Eden is discovered by astronauts. However, upon their arrival, they find a civilization that subjugates its own population through total control of information flows.
Eden represents both the biblical paradise, the original dwelling place of humanity, and the absolute harmony lost by humans due to the Fall, yet preserved within the subconscious aspirations of every soul.
The musical composition "Love Code" represented by musical notes on the cover of "Eden" ArtNote narrates the story of love between Man and Woman, encompassing inspiration, disillusionment, death, spiritual evolution, and the rebirth of Love on a new, global, universal level.
